What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Yeah, I'm going to Flogging Molly/NOFX on Saturday in an outdoor arena which when I bought tickets sounded like it would be awesome for Mid-March.
Now I'm like, fuck... time to go get a bucket of 50spf sunblock to bring with me. Being a ginger I've already dealt with skin cancer last year so fuck the sun. #gingerproblems

On another note, for the ceramic based tint that rejects 90% of IR I just got a quote from a local place for $400... Which exceeds my tint budget by about $150.

 

Combine working from home due to a winter storm with my work bonus deposit hitting my bank account... I've got a pair of JBA UCAs ordered, I'm about ready to pull the trigger on an OME/Dakar kit from Headstrong, I'm looking at tires and waiting for SCS to get some Ray 10 wheels back in stock.

pac cam ty12 idk what to do with the purple wire (reverse signal input) and the 6v supply wire on the camera adapter.



Idk where these go, help anyone?

 

Shit i'd love to help as i just installed this exact deck myself, however my '07 doesn't have the factory reverse cam so anything to do with camera wires will be different. the purple wire triggers the camera to come on, but i patched my aftermarket cam into the taillight for trigger so i chopped the purple wire off the harness. i did come across a great diagram for this though which i will try to dig up.

Oh man, I could take my deck out and tell you exactly which wire it is, but I am on day 10 of 14 on bed rest post surgery. It's going to take me a couple of days. It was not an easy wire to find as it lives off that flat plug with like 10 wires attached to it.

Snow day today so... While the wife was dealing with the kids and putting them down for their nap, I put my retros on! Yeah boy!!!!

Started at noon, finished at about 4. Not gonna lie, it's a bitch. Broke a fucking tab on my stock driver's side headlight cause I was rushing a bit. Aside from that just a scuff or so on both where you can't really see. The retros are on and fine though.

Didn't really clean up the wiring part cause I had to go outside and try to clean my driveway a bit cause of all the fucking snow. So, when I have more time, and in daylight, I have to get that cleaned up and organized a bit better. Everything seems to be working though. Halo blinking when the blinker is on, halo on with DRL on

Pics possibly tomorrow, depending on weather, so I can show off the new look. Fucking psyched!

 

That's probably the stuff that's 100 bones per window to have installed, right? I guess you pay for the quality. Trying to find a happy medium around $250 for the whole truck.
