For Apple products: If it's AppleCare, get it...if it's SquareTrade or some other warranty, don't. I've literally got all Apple stuff for home and work. AppleCare pays for itself if ever used plus you have access to a "genius" if that's ever needed.

You might as well move to the SC coast...everybody else from NY does. At least half the people that I meet are from NY.

Initial road report. Dick Cepek Extreme Country 255/85/16 Load E.

260 miles to Asheville and back today. shitty weather, roads wet, not sloppy though.

great ride, like riding on pillows. air set at 38 all around, not sure where these need to be, but this is where I had the duratracs, so I started there. DT did a great job balancing. no vibes at any speed. will see how they wear and balance in due time. I did not test traction threshold, I took it easy. No hard cornering. with the 4.56 gears, my truck loves this size. speedo is now off 4 or 5 at 70. will take some getting used to. 2300-2400 rpm at 70 tru mph (based on waze speedo) noise similar to DTs, slight hum / whirr. Brad said they are quieter than the DTs, as I rolled up on his house last night

Thanks @JimboAnz for the report! Sounds great. When you get a chance, please measure from ground to top of tire for a real-world measurement. I'd like to know how tall these are in normal situations.
    Thanks again!

I'd like yall's opinion on something.

I have a set of extended travel Icon coilovers that came off my son's truck and I'm debating on if I should put them on my truck or sell them. I like the way my truck drives and handles now and it has plenty of lift with the 5100s and 885s and I'm a little leery of the Icons needing a rebuild further down the road. Seems like it would a hassle sending them back. That would be much later as they only have 13k on them now.
Anyway...install or sell?? Include reasons please.
Also, if I decide to sell, what should I expect to get out of them?? As stated, they have 13k on them and have never been off the pavement.

LOL...I don't have any at the moment, but they are normal non-resi , extended travel, 3" lift Icons with 13k on them. They are pretty nice as I live near Myrtle Beach (no snow or salt).

    Lol. Geez.
I have a 3 br, 2.5 bath, huge gameroom, 2 car garage with solid oak flooring downstairs on almost 2 acres for $900 month.
Just 12 mins outside of gville.

$900 seems rediculously high to live in a 1 br apt. Idc what part of gville it is.
The only place that I can think of that would be that high, is "The Lofts" right dtown.

Install...because if you're already happy with the 5100s, imagine how much more with the Icons.

then he can just keep the billies and put them back on when the service period needs to be done to the icons.
