Holy SHIT! !!! You guys should see it up here. I have almost 2 feet of snow just from this morning. Visibility up here is 0. Just ran down to the store and back, usually a 20 min round trip, 1 hour and 15 minutes just now. At times the most I could do was 10 or 15 mph at most ! Closed down malls and even Wally World !! There is almost a foot of snow on the main highway !! Nowonder everybody from up here wants to move to S.C. !! You lucky bastards !!!!!

That's total BS. I hope you didn't let him do that. With 887s and 5100s at 2nd notch(+.85), you will be close to 4" of lift in the front and your CVs won't last very long.

Leave the billies with no preload. The 887s will give you 3" with the struts set on 0. Any higher than that is not good.

Do you have after market UCAs? If not, you'll want them soon.

If they say you'll have clearance issues with 887s and bilsteins at 0, they don't know what they are talking about. Tell them you are okay with that.

5100's with 887 springs are common. With 285's you *may* need a cab mount chop, or some inner fender trimming/ pinch weld mod.

I needed a chop. You can run 285s with minimal rubbing, but depending on backspacing, you'll want to chop

News just said we are getting 5 to 6 inches an hour !! This sucks !! 3 cars were stuck in the store parking lot and I felt bad because these cars now have nothing you can hook on to due to the low spoilers on them.

cab mount chop from relentless already at the house. will work out the details on that later but for the mean time i should clear 285 no problem??? or do i need to adjust the 887 and the 5100's to second notch??

    wheels 17x9 6x5.5 4.75 backspace.
