Gun related stickers on your taco

What do you guys think of having gun related stickers on your truck? Attract a break in?

Have you had any bad experiences or heard of anyone that has?

 

I have a protected by M&P Shield on my back window and this on Tailgate. .

 

I personally wouldn't/don't. The point of CC is no one knowing you have a gun. I'd save those stickers for the lid of the toolbox or something. That's just me though.

 

I've never assumed that if there is a gun sticker on a truck there is a gun inside.

Some people just like brands. Same with a monster sticker on a truck, there is never a monster inside. I've looked.

I dont put anything on my truck that would make it a target. ( hope they would move on to the next one ) too many crazies out there. no guns, no politics, no religion.

 

I have the "Fender" logo tattooed on my right pec. Doesn't mean I'm packing a Strat everywhere I go.

Stickers is stickers

 

I thought about doing the more obscure ones - Like ArfCom or Magpul, but no obvious brand names. Still thinking on that one.

 

Cool. Yea I figured everyone would have a valid opinion. I'm still on the fence of taking it off or keeping it. Might keep it on till my Sig P226 pride purchase calms down a bit.

 

If you like it keep it. And for the sig it self keep it on you not left in the truck and no worries.

 

Regardless of whether the driver has a weapon on them/in the car or not, bad people may think so. It may be the very reason someones car gets broken into because some thug wants a chance at a free gun.

Now obviously most gun owners won't leave their guns in their vehicles overnight, but I'm sure it happens.

A sticker is a sticker, but it paints a picture of the person inside.

 

I've left my gun(s) in my truck/previous vehicles many times overnight. I also live less than 200yds from a federal prison and elementary school.

 

I don't like advertising there might be a firearm in the vehicle or that the driver is carrying...

 

To each their own man. Everyone's area and mindsets are different, so as long as it works for you, that's all that matters.

 

I've had a bfl logo on my truck for almost two years. No problems from it, very few notice it. Though it is black on a tinted window.....


Most people don't know what a bfl is either.

 

I see you live in Maryland. Maybe my mind would work differently if I lived in a state with terrible laws pertaining to firearms as well.

 

I just moved here. Lived in Florida before that and Virginia before that. Have been concealing for a few years now, but am unable to anymore because of this states laws.

 

That's terrible news. I hope to God, you're making more money or have good reason to move there.

 

Only moved here for the military. Trust me, I wouldn't be here by choice!! It's terrible in many ways.

 

All my Gun related stickers are on my workshop fridge. To many punks walking around for me to put them on my Truck.
