Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
Done with that for a few years. Thanks for trying. Maybe next year?

Eh, see my Build Thread sig link. Too many mods to list.
I can bring Angry Orchards. I'd rather have that than beer any day of the week.

Me lol I'm trying to get one of the other TO guys, but I doubt it will be the 4Runner you're interested in. :( I'll ask around though.

I've seen him around and my buddy knows him. He's part of the FB group down here but I haven't met him in person.

I'll try to get the list all updated this evening, yesterday I was dragging hard. Got in bed with some Netflix on the tablet around 8PM.

Nicest and closest would be McMenamin's. If it were me, I'd hit up a VRBO. Most likely closer and cheaper.

I have an MSR Fast Stash tent with the footprint that I used for 1 week last summer and I want to sell, but it's not the greatest for PNW because it's definitely a summer-only, maybe warm spring tent. It would do OK in rain, but it has mesh sides and takes up a lot of space, so I'm hoping to sell it to someone more out east. Sorry I don't have better help.

'bout time you show up to another one of these! :)

Make the snow melt with all that hot air of yours ;)

    Dammit Ben I love you.

You should still come, and bring that trailer. If I decide to go, and possibly break something, I'll need a ride home. :D:D:anonymous:

My trailer won't help you much unless you want to be my little spoon. It's a 15 ft long travel trailer. Also, I don't think I would be going the same direction as you. Leaving Portland for me would be heading east on 84, not north on 5.

I've been watching this thread for a bit now. Got a few questions.

    1. Do you guys bring your families (if you have them) or significate others?
    2. I've read the posts on the trial difficulties, is there going to be a "group" hitting the easier trails? (got open diffs so...ghey)

Would like to attend with my family (wife and daughter), and would like to hit some of the easier trails. I do not know the area, so it would be nice to get with someone that knows the area or could at least point us in the right direction. If we can bring some food the help with some of the bigger meals (Saturday breakfast and dinner, Sunday breakfast) would be more then happy to help out.

    1. I brought my son last year. He had a blast. I'll probably bring him this year. It's family friendly.

    2. It looks like we have all trail levels covered this year. :) Bring on the open diffs.

    1. I can't promise that everyone's mouth will stay G-rated. Otherwise we've had families on multiple outings and everyone really enjoys it.
    2. At this time we have a count of 15, so I'd like to see 2 - 3 groups. Anything over 8 is very slow, 6 or less gets ideal. There aren't a lot of straight up green difficulty trails. Some of the blues are more about tricky narrow turns, so open diffs will be plenty fine. Sliders are a bit more important, but if you have a bit of bravery and take it carefully, you can tackle quite a few. The 'traditional route' that anyone who goes to TSF inevitably goes on at some point is Powerline to University Firepower to Cedar Tree to Firebreak 5 (which many people will take the pull-off and watch) to Archers Firebreak. Archers is possibly the hardest and would be the only one I could think would possibly demand the extra insurance of sliders. Stick in the Nose is also a long trail that I don't recall needing anything too special.
I typically recommend newcomers to come early enough on Friday to do a ride-along and then determine what they want to do from there for Saturday. Being a passenger can be fun since you have someone to hang with and get to concentrate on helping with spotting, and keeps you in the loop for those who don't have a CB.

If you don't have a CB, things can get really lonely!

So, I'll check with the better half and see if we can make it work. Sounds like a good time, and these are the majority or the reasons for buying/building this thing. Thanks for the info, I'll OFFICALLY let you know once we figure out what our plans for the summer are.

Well if I pickup an expo trailer this weekend, I'll be pushing to have it ready in time. I'll wait to commit at this point.
