    Howdy,

I have a 2009 Toyota Tacoma 4X4 SR5 Double Cab non-TRD truck. I curently have the 245/75-R16 tire and wheel combo and I wish to upgrade to
    265/75-R16 tire and wheel combo.

I am dealing with a Discount Tire shop near my house which has provided me with excellent customer service over the years.

I've decided on the Michelin LTX A/T 2 tires.

    I ordered the Ultra 164's
    Part # 164-6883P: 16X8, 4 1/4" back spacing, -6 offset, 6-5.5 bolt circle.
These wheels did not fit. The wheel rubbed slightly on the front brake caliper.

I ordered Eagle Alloys Series 186
    Part # 1864-7865: 16X8, 4" back spacing, -11 offset, 6-5.5 bolt circle.
These did not fit. The wheel rubbed slightly on the front brake caliper.

We tried the Discount Tire house brand MB Razor wheel and while I can't provide a part number with the exact specifications I do know the wheel had a -6 offset. This wheel fit just fine. However this wheel is not my first choice for an upgrade.

I don't want to go to spacers and I'd prefer to not have to grind on my calipers.

Does anybody have any suggestions as to what wheels will fit similar to the one pictured below? (assuming I added the picture to my thread correctly)

Find it in a 16x9 in a similar off-set and backspacing and youll be set.

    Hey AriZonaD54,

Why will 16X9 make enough of a difference over 16X8 to not rub against the brake calipers? I just assumed the rim is 1 inch wider on a 16X9 verses a 16X8. Not questioning but I'm just trying to educate myself.

Also, with the 1 inch wider rim will the tire still "pooch" out far enough to sorta protect the outside edges of the rims from getting scratched up by curbs, rocks etc?

    Thanks,

    Just replied to your PM.

For those viewing, according to our specs the 83/84 Series Pro Comp wheels do not clear the brakes.

My apologies for the confusion! Yes the 16x8 ET0 Series 01 clears the brakes.
