I had a 16 LB SR5 for a year... loved the truck just couldn't get past the length. I literally had a love hate with it because of it.... It was just a little too long for me for practical reasons like I couldn't fit it in the garage and at certain angles just didn't like the look with the length. I got fortunate and my dealership basically gave me what I owed on my loan and wanted the truck so I traded for a 17 TRD Off RD SB and for me it just works better. I loved my super white but loving my inferno more. I make take the Tubes off... Not sure I like them.. cant decide. Other mods coming...

Nice! Congrats in the new ride. I bought a super white 2017 OR. I was going to get the long bed but I don't live in a rural area and it's much easier with a short bed to maneuver around town and park.

I waffled over LB vs. SB for such a long time, ended up with SB due to wheelbase and wanting to offroad it in the future. The LB wheelbase is just bad for offroading here in CO.

    Too few to list.
LB's only look good with at least 3" lift and 285+ tires.

Great choice, especially for off-road. Looks better too IMO

Yep, @smitty99 has a tendency to high center longer trucks and expects others to do the same.

I have both, SB is useless.

I sure did but I answered your reason as to why you keep telling people to buy a short bed

Fine buy a long bed. Live with regret and end up trading it in. Only senior citizens really like long beds.

They call it a long bed but its really a standard bed on any other truck. I ued to drive a 2500hd chevy diesel so the short bed tacoma wouldnt do it for me. I do live that color i wish they had it avilable on the 15 but oh well

Truth though.. My grandpa is the only one in my family with a long bed commuter truck. My sister likes to borrow it when she goes kayaking but other than that it doesn't get driven or utilized anymore. Guys just buy the short bed and get a bed extender for $50 if you need it... I'm not talking about the OEM one either!

That's right because we know a thing or two about a thing or two.

You'll be old too someday and realize the mistakes of your youth.
