Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Not a problem here camping wise. It's all married families that go too.

The last time I went camping with married couples we almost got caught up in a swingers orgy. Maybe next time. For now I'll just go camping with the family.

YES. Except it's half friends that don't like camping at all (wtf) and half the friends that do are in the military and are now scattered across the country.

I never invite others to go camping with me. I'm trying to get away from everyone. As far as finding folks to do stuff with, everyone is usually too busy with sick kids or working. Seems most of my friends have side hustles to make ends meet or get ahead. We don't have free time like our parents did. Most of my friends are working 2-3 jobs even with Masters degrees. I've found the thing to do is impromptu, non-committal events: potluck on a weeknight, hotdog roast with kids playing in the creek on Saturday, grab some pizzas and meet at the park.

Ick. Like, how does one wash/freshen up in the wild? I can't imagine getting frisky after two days in the woods.

Baby Boom ends at 1964. Then I think it's GenX from 65 to wherever the Millenials start.

It's a good division...very clear differences between Boomers and GenX'ers. My wife was born on the second to last day of 1969, I was born in June of 63. There's a lot of stuff she has no memory of, like

    - Vietnam
    - Nixon
    - Black and white TV and the arrival of IN COLOR!
    - The Apollo program and moon landings
    - the Beatles
    - Ed Sullivan
    - Only having 3 channels of TV to watch
    - Party line telephones
    - Stay at home moms
    - Only having one car, one TV.

My childhood was more Leave It To Beaver, hers was more Family Ties.

Is it considered camping if you pass out on your porch?

Ladies and Gentleman, here we have Iron FUCKING Eagle... A story about a good ole black dude, Col. Charles "Chappy" Sinclair, that mentored this fighter ace to be named Doug, to help rescue his imprisoned Col. dad from terrorist scum.. Long story short when the kid Dougie Fresh clicked play on his walkman with cassette tape playing "Gimmie Some Lovin" shit got real.. He thought Chappy didn't make it but went down like an honorable Chap, Doug rescues his dad after destroying terrorist in the process.. At the end finds out ole Chappy made it, so good ending..
