did CT get more snow than RI? sounds like my customers have a lot of clean up

 

I think we did. We got hammered.

 

good thing i decided to stay home rather than drive all the way out and get cancelled on

 

Kat has been gone for a while.... NY was great, then my ex cheated on me. I'm living in North Conway now, working at Subaru up here. Moved super short notice, within 2 weeks... Kinda works out better. Everything is cheaper, no sales tax or income tax. Plus at this dealership, I'm lined up to make basically 3x what I was before.

 

Smart move.

 

AND, I got to keep the dog

That sucks. At least you landed on your feet, sounds like.

 

So I'm snowblowing yesterday and all of a sudden it sort of bucks and starts spitting brown snow that stinks. One of the used gear oil containers that I had up against the side of the house must have got blown over and rolled into the middle of the driveway

Immediately from the smell I knew what it was, so I guess I don't need to worry about lubing anything in the chute/ auger for a while...

 

Rustproofing, that's all it is...

Yeah, that stuff does have a pretty strong odor. Seems like it increases the older it is, too.

 

I know, why does gear oil stink so bad? I change it in the boat and the sled a lot and it's just nasty smelling stuff.

Because they know you'll inevitably spill some so they make it stink on purpose
