    bolt a piece of angle across so plug is horizontal rather than hanging down. Or cut a big hole in your bumper beside the tag to put the plug there.

    if you have a wrench, a drill, and a screwdriver you can put it in the socket for the driver license plate light. looks like it was meant to go there
    i relocated mine there before last year's trip so it's still intact :thumbsup:

    sure, i guess. I was thinking plug face. Make it horiz so the opening faces down and wire bundle is safely upward.

    Tag light spot is a good idea too.

    87% loaded up. Thursday morning I still have to cut up some scrap wood, load up clothes and provisions (Amy is packing for all of us today), prep food and load cooler, load junk for the babies staying at my parents etc. Hey Matt @mwc273 , Rather than the 1030am - 1200pm pit stop we will probably meet the convoy at 1130ish, get fuel, and be ready to roll out by 1200 with everyone.
