What's the tow rating and are you flat towing or trailer?

    5000

On a flatbed, the Civic would be around 5000.

On a dolly it would be about 3400

I've towed a couple thousand to 2500 lbs with my 2016 4Runner and it likes to scream on long hills at 70 mph. I came from a full size (2012) ram with hemi so maybe I'm use to more power, but a towing vehicle the 4Runner is not. 3500 miles, no way I'd attempt that, but acts just my opinion.

Well @JoeT4R, if you see this little spray painted green five lug out and about, wave howdy, cos it's my daily. The 4runners currently have no engines. :D

Right on! Hopefully we can get around to meeting up sometime, I'd surely be interested in seeing the 4Runners you have. Are they 3rd gens?

Nope, both second gens. Bought em for $300 apiece. One shattered a valve and chewed up that head, destroyed the walls in the corresponding cylinder walls too. Other one was in bad shape too, but not completely destroyed. The bad block is now a table in my room.

91 is getting an LS1/700r4 from a totalled 02 Camaro, 94's 3.0 is just being rebuilt.

Nice, nice! I wish you luck with your projects and the rebuilds. Consider swapping in a 3.4 into either?

I would, but I'm already struggling to come up with funds just to rebuild the 3.0. Snagging a 3.4 would cost a lot more, especially considering I'd want to rebuild it anyways unless I could find one with super low mileage. The LS1 Runner is probably a couple years down the road. That one is gonna be a total money pit.
