What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Is anyone using the ultraguage with the Android app? Is it any good or should I just get the unit.

 

I tried the one with the app and personally didn't like it. Too much trouble to open it up, looking at it, not to mention if you wanted to check stuff out as you're driving. That was the main reason why I switched to the actual unit.

Personal preference I guess.

 

I am not much help with your question although an anytime rear and front camera is on my very, very long to do list. Having said that, you will get better results if you use google and include your search terms and tacomaworld.

 

Nuno, weren't you the guy who frequently said he did not have the skills to do any of the mods you wanted to do on your truck? Not so much anymore?

 

LOL!!!!!!!!!! I was, and I still am. Did you see that I broke a tab on my OEM headlight?!

I guess once you actually do it and try it, it becomes a bit easier... but I still don't feel like I have the skill to do a lot of the stuff peeps around here do, that's for sure.

My bed extender from Amp Research arrived. And it's off to the install....

 

While that maybe true, if your current self could talk to your old self awhile back before you conquered your trepidation about making a go at some of these mods you would be telling yourself to go for it, it's never as bad as it seems. And breaking parts and making mistakes is part of the process. It happens to all of us. Each failure is a lesson in how not to do it wrong, which will inevitably lead to you doing it right! Hence the wise statement, "Make sure you do not do this....ask me how I know?"

 

Took truck in to Dealer to get Recall work done (Leafs, Seatbelts and floor mats) Bummed they won't put blocks back in but all good. Waiting for call for more work or its ready. Well see how it goes

 

Just did the diff breather mod- 10 minutes max, and that was finding the tools and cleaning the driver side bed cubby I ran it to. Got Mobil 1 ATF fluid for a power steering fluid change... but was wondering, what is this reservoir? It seems to be filled with ATF as well

Oh yeah installed that expensive $90 air filter you can wash too. Delivered to me while I was installing the diff breather mod

 

that's your brake reservoir. It holds Brake fluid, not ATF
