I've been reading posts, and being nonmechanical I've decided to just ask the question. Is it more than likely that because my BCSB taco is a 4x4, I'm more than likely not going to get the full 1.5" front lift from my Eibach/Bilstein setup?

What do you mean "less lift"? 1.5" is 1.5". You may have to get it differently from a PreRunner, but it can be got.

The extra few hundred pounds added by 4x4 equipment may make you a few thousandths of an inch lower, yes. I wouldn't worry about it.

There is a bit more weight in the front of the truck (400# by some reports) because of the 4x4 system.
But I wouldn't expect to see a drastic difference...

The other discussion about "less lift with 4x4s" is the fact that the drive line can not withstand radical lifts because of binding.

a 4x4 has more weight than a 2 wheel drive so yes i believe that is correct

What does "Just set your rig right" mean?? Cause 1/4 of lift or difference in lift could be what he wants.
I have no idea what you are trying to get at with your post??

I think he means he lost 1" with settling, turning it into an effective 2" lift.
