Potholer54 does a great job breaking down the science.
No question there should be lengthy debates about how government can and should influence policy to reduce climate change, and yes most politicians are full of it. BUT the science has shown since at least the 1950s/1960s that man has influenced the climate in a detrimental way. Like it or not our vehicles contribute to that.

Like others have said, I doubt Donald relaxing any policies will make the car companies completely change course.

I dont have a ideology. Given the nature of government and their track record with out serious proof I am not blindly going to go along with what they say. I think for my self.

I have to shake my head when I see people arguing or discussing over measly MPGs and "companies/corporations" "trying" to design/make more "fuel efficient" engine/vehicles... Does anyone in their right mind not see that's not in the true interest of these people who are in bed with the other dirt bags of the world, who are also responsible for most all the problems and BS in it?

People have invented/designed/made/tested water engines in their garages and small work shops that were and are EXTREMELY efficient, that's been yeears ago.. What happened to them and that? Do you really think, that these dirt bags in government/corporations/certain families really want that in OUR vehicles?

Take a look at Nikola Tesla, which most people haven't even heard of (which is a shame), but no surprise.. But Edison gets glory, he was a shithead part of the system...
Tesla wanted us all to have free energy.. They shut him up and out of the minds of most for a reason... So they could enslave everybody to power bills and rake in untold fortunes... Same thing/concept people.

The technologies that have been and are hidden and suppressed from us would blow our minds. And people argue/discuss with each other over which engine gets 1 or 2 more MPG or little more torque.

We should all be outraged at these crooks..

Climate cycles. Have we had an impact, I used to think so, but when folks talk about how much cow farts change our climate, I can only imagine what the dinosaurs did. The problem with this whole climate change, POLITICS. It may have started out with folks trying to make a difference, but now it's all about money and political control.

As far as any auto company making drastic changes due to what the current political climate is doing, doubtful. At most they might delay things slightly, but the people want more fuel efficient vehicles. And yes, get the dam sugar, I mean ethanol out of the fuel.

If anything, we would see more ethanol. GOP supports the corn lobby/corn lobby supports the GOP.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
My 2012 second gen still has the bullshit emissions pump timebomb waiting to go off and arbitrarily fuck the engine up due to some stupid sensors going wacky

No. It doesn't help me worth anything.

Are you saying that you know more about global warming than people who actually study it? It sure sounds like it lol. I also laugh imagining you poring over all of the data that points directly at anthropgenic global warming and determining for yourself what's accurate and what isn't. And by the way, climate change isn't what is the debate is about, global warming is.
