    1) I'm about to get my welder receptacle wired and am enrolled in a mig welding class next sat.
    2) I scored some cheap ($100) trail gear weld on rock sliders on craigslist the other week.
    3) Bank roll is adding up for 33" KM2's as well as LCA and steering rack bushings
    4) I'll take a stab at a home built skid plate
    5) Meet you folks and then pray the truck doesn't fall apart on the trail

Sooo looking forward to getting all this work done and coming down to harass you folks

I pm'ed you about skids, but I hadn't heard back haha :anonymous:

Sliders seem pretty straight forward, but its good to take time to mock and tach everything to make sure the details are not overlooked (read, make sure to open your doors to check clearance)? I'll have to make some scab plates and gussets. Seems like diamond shaped is preferred to avoid straight vertical welds?

Skid plates will be the big one for the takeover trip :bananadance:

Well the hill climb on pole line is more a blue. Ive done that... but we did I think 21? That was a black (blue on the map) ran 13a and I would have run 13b but I think others didn't want to... and those were the only blacks. Id run yellow jacket after bumpers... ive seen what Josh did to his bumper the first time out there and I like mine too much to fuck it up before I get a HC

Yeah. I bounced around on Yellow Jacket for 10 minutes before @Wheelspinner got me on the right line.

Definitely need to be armored up on that one.

Yellow jacket being a blue is kind of a joke.

It's the wheelbase. Yellow Jacket was my first real trail ever (in my 97 TJ). Took greens to Yellow Jacket then down to lake Christy, then messed around in the quarry all in a rainstorm with no doors or top. Got broken in hard and never hit a skid or axle. Loved that rig.

It's a blue for shorter wheelbase vehicles. Decently easy but can still mess stuff up.

LOTS less line choices for us longer trucks.

Yellow Jacket ridge is a black - the rest is considered blue.
Personally I'd like to do Cemetary and Boot Hill again. (Reds)
Quite challenging even with the crawler.
