That's a great idea! Any better pics of how it's mounted?

It's for the weight of whatever accessories that the dealer installed. I have one for the aftermarket tonneau they installed when I bought my truck. I think they're required to put these on since it technically reduces the cargo capacity by that weight.

They put those on anytime Toyota includes a factory accessory that adds weight...so in this case they decided 10lbs was the number to reduce by. Did your truck come with factory tonneau, steps or rack?

    Edit, just got beat!

I would not have the patients to do this so it looked good. My vinyl would be all sorts of bubbled and messed up if I tried. Nice job!

It accounts for the extra 10 pounds of style you have driving a new Tacoma.

Looks like a great day was had by the wheel man out there. I miss hills. North Florida has one thing in abundance and that's flat places to go.

Ah, good to know. I added a shitton of weight myself (sliders, skids, canopy, racks, etc.), but nothing has been installed from the dealership that I'm aware of.

    Ha!

Looks like it's probably something simple like a set of these for the bed rail:

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009SWGLHW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_x6BYybHB7M093

And then some stainless double sided thread bolts with wing nuts???

Here's the thread where I got the pic:

HUGE improvement! It'll be better once the sub/amp goes in there, but it's already like night and day. He needs to order tweeters (the size he originally ordered was incorrect), so it was really just the 4 speakers in the doors and there's actually a bit of bass and much more clarity. I think we're aiming to finish it up by this weekend!

My bad, here is my Viofo A119s

    View from Drivers Seat

And a view from outside. It's not too easy to notice.

Overall I'm pretty happy with it. I got it more or less free with some Amazon gift cards I got for Christmas. It does 1080p video at 60fps. Night vision isn't great, but it works. I did have to put some paper between the gps mount and the camera to stop it from rattling every time I hit a pothole/bump.

Nice to see someone else shares my enthusiasm for getting rid of chrome. I can not stand chrome. Keep fighting the good fight.
