It's smooth. Likes to stay in 4th or 5th gear on the highway. I cruise at 75 for my commute. She will drop to 5th or 6th if I went slower but I don't mind.

Anyone here still have their stock ride height measurements for their Tacoma? Looking for the rear measurements.

Don't forget your 1/4" top plate spacer for that driver side lean. Yes you will get 3" of lift and 0 offset will give you the clearance to clear your tires from hitting UCAs but every truck is different so no promise on the rubbing part. If anything it'll be the fender we'll but that's it.

That was the stock setting. Maybe about 1-1.5" of lift. I now have them cranked to give about 2" of lift in the front.

Anyone with a 2" + lift running a Driveshaft Carrier Bearing Drop Kit?

Putting my lift kit together, wondering if I should do this or not.

I'm going to stay between 2-3" lift.

    I don't think it's necessary.

6" Rough Country Lift on 18x8.5 rims, running 295/70R18
    Hi guys,

I'm new to the forum. A little background: I am an avid outdoorsman living is western MA (VERY Western) I live in the hilltowns where most of the roads are dirt and not plowed. I do a lot of hunting here and in northern Maine so I wanted to build a truck that I could use to get to my hunting spots.

I went with a 2017 Quicksand Tacoma TRD Sport. I added a 6" Rough Country lift, American Outlaw 18x8.5 rims, and Cooper Discoverer 295/70R18 tires. I also added a matte black grill yesterday. My plan is to add black Bushwacker fender flares. More pictures to come, its been difficult to keep it clean after getting buried here in New England.

    all tore up already
For what it costs its a good thing to have on hand while doing the lift. I didnt install mine at first. Had a rumble vibe around 25mph on acceleration. Installed shims and all was good. Only take a minute to install and remove so id say order em jic. Over 2" probably better with them anyways

does anyone know why so many people that make spacer lifts do not recommend the 3" spacer for the TRD Off Road?

they recommend the 2.5" spacer for the TRD OR, but the 3" spacer for the TRD Sport and all other models.

    :help:

What about Axle degree shims? I want to do it all while the truck is on the lift.
