Do you guys know of any trails suitable for a newb around the B'ham/Hoover area?

 

Have you been to the mall? Some of them curbs get pretty tall. I'm not going back till I get at least sliders.

Galleria is no joke. That parking garage is intimidating.

 

As a matter of fact, The Slab is a good place when it isn't raining and water has accumulated.

 

Never been to that mall. How many bar lights do I need?

 

Just make sure you bring duct tape! Never know when you'll need to tape up something.

 

go down 280, take a left at the light at highland lakes. go a couple of hundred feet and take a left.

 

6. grill, 2 ditch lights, roof rack single row and two aux, back up lights! galleria is dangerous.

 

try Talladega National forest. 280 east to Sylacauga. find east 3rd street or 148. drive out on 148. there many open gates on 148 for easy forest roads. I assume easy because its the first time I've seen them open but cant be difficult. A little further down on the left is a road with a boat ramp sign. again, easy but fun to explore. about 11ish miles from Sylacauga on the left is the skyway 600-1? top of the hill and fun. I'm a noob as well and was a little scared doing it alone but its not a problem. great scenery.

 

liar. I think, from your posts, that skyway is your personal highway!

Work with a contracting company at the Toyota plant in Huntsville.
