Did you have them repair it? That shock mount looks pretty much compromised. One hard it and it could split into two.

I took to the dealership and had them look at it and - surprisingly - they didn't seem too concerned. At some point I may have someone weld a plate over it just to be safe.

Is anybody else's Icon kit a little noisy? Mine makes a ton of noise at speeds under 10 mph while turning. Like not metal on metal. It's like bushings or something. I know I put my lift on correctly, I've been doing them for years.

How good are the Icon UCAs. Would it be better if I got stage 2 with Total Chaos UCAs. This sucks I know I want Icon I just dont know what to get. Majority of my commute is highway with some weekend trips of offroading and a hell of a lot of snow travel during the winter

My understanding of UCAs are that ICON uses a smaller bolt which means you can have a cover cap. TC has a larger stronger bolt so you cannot use a cover cap. The cap is useful if you are in conditions (dust, dirt, mud, snow, etc.) to keep dust and shit like that out of the uniball. Once it gets in the uniball, the uniball may rattle and squeak. According to ICON's site, sell these cover caps for about $42.

But what do I know, I'm just another guy on the internet:pccoffee:
Hope this helps! (I'm going to bite the bullet on my own ICON stage 4 pretty soon)

Whichever is cheaper. My stage 4 kit has been great so far. Got a great deal on it vs. the Toytec and King kit. Rides rough at low speeds but when your going fast..... DAMN it's like a Cadillac.

Just your stage 1 with the progressive leaf pack. I left the threads at Icon factory settings. Does anyone know how much lift that generates?

So I saw this in another icon thread where someone's ressies were leaking. PER ICON and their instructions online, you're supposed to only tighten the top nut until it's flush like this.

Then the bushings aren't compressed as much and allows your reservoir hose to clear

I dont have ressies but I'm still going to loosen might until they're spec to also lengthen the life of the bushings.

What are people doing to clean up the rear shock mount after being cut for the added room on the reservoir tube?

Also what is recommended to put on the uniball to protect from rust/dirt/rocks...

Love my Icon setup. Been bulletproof and the ride is absolutely amazing.

    Front - 2.5 Extended Travel
    Rear - 2.5 with CDC

Now running the Total Chaos spring under conversion which made a night and day difference in ride quality.
