Im a auto tech (mechanic) for Mercedes Benz US International

 

We need to get a group together and go out there. When its dry preferably. Maybe Memorial weekend or sometime ill actually be off work lol

One time...I went off-road

 

we used to switch that place before they got tired of our crappy service. ended up bringing in a whole new outfit to pull loaded auto racks and move them half a mile because they hated us. unfortunately, for mercedes after the half a mile we take the loaded auto racks

 

contract? I assume you're not union?

Not union and not contractor. I actually work for mercedes.

Interesting or not surprising?

 

Tacoma has always been a tough off-road truck. If you expect a luxury vehicle, you're going to be disappointed.

 

I'm a Mechanical Design Engineer for Spectrum Solutions. I plan and design HVAC systems for government contracts.

 

What kills me about stuff like this is how people always think compact trucks need to turn into crossover-esque grocery getters. They have a misnomer (to me) in there too. The people that have been having problems aren't having what I would contribute to "reliability" one whole year into a new gen. But whatever. They may not all have the original trans or third member by the time we can chalk them all up as a gen to forget, who knows.

 

I'm over the warehouse/production for windfield united, a subsidiary of LandOLakes. we a are chemical distribution center for all the co-ops. (I get on a computer and tell it what I'm going to move with a forklift, go move it with a forklift, then come back and tell the computer I moved it haha, pretty much)
