Yep. I'm looking at either those, the BFG KM2s, or Toyo Open Country

Ah got ya, Im guessing MTs are what you are going for? I used to get the Toyo Open country MT tires for my first gen. Back then they didn't seem as popular and rode pretty well for an MT. I don't think you can go wrong with any of those.

I was looking at that mount for switches looks sweet! But I think sunglass area might be better fit. How have you liked the panel and how hard was install with it?

The panel just slides in. I have an sPod, so the wiring is already done for me. If you wait a little bit, I might sell it, if I like the CB in this spot better than where it is now..

I got 255/80/17 st maxx and love them! Honestly I feel they are the perfect balance between MT and AT and ridiculously quiet for how aggressive they look. But the KM2 and toyos are good too just a bit pricier I believe and louder especially if you go MT. I wish I wheeled more as well that why I just got basic bilstein and ome coils for now.

I had a blue sea fuse panel setup before the sPod, but it was just too complicated for me to figure out wiring. But now that we have @ilubtimmyhos and he works for beer, we can get any wiring done!

I was thinking about dual battery, but the management system is like $200+ and I dont have enough things running, like a fridge, to support/need it. At the current moment. Also, I am running out of room in my engine bay for another battery. I have my air compressor mounted on the passenger firewall side.

I agree we need to have a beer or few and discuss options! My setup would be for now just extra lights, charging stuff and possible winch. thanks for the heads up on blue sea since I am not electrically inclined. I will check out spods more.

there are plenty of Taco guys that dont have to CMC with 285s... I didnt have to CMC my 4Runner and I have 285 on that with zero rubbing on or off road.... there was only minor plastic trimming.

my decision for my Taco is between 285s and 295s. lol

Amazon Prime for the boards, and Pep Boys was fairly local

lol it went right over my head until the punchline.

Also, none of you should shy away from wiring. Ill help/teach you anything you need. No reason to go expensive if its not necessary. I'm working on building my own automatic climate controller if that helps assure your confidence in my specific set of skills.

Nice man, I assume rims you had must of helped with the clearance for 285s? I forget that mine are only stock wheels.

I went with OEM 4Runner TRD Pro wheels on the 4Runner and for mine, I'm not 100% decided, but I MIGHT go with the aftermarket TRD Pro wheels that are 17x8 +5mm so they sit a little better on the wheel itself
