I had never heard of butane soldering irons until I had a buddy help me install my remote start. He had 2 and I decided right then I would buy one the next time i needed to solder. Now cord for power pulling on the back and getting in the way along with now power outlet sold me instantly!

You have a few options. @Naveronski ideal is a very good one. You could go over have lunch and then leave so you get the visit in and then move one with your day. Reschedule with the inlaws for sunday. All my other ideals will get you into trouble with your wife and/or inlaws so I'll stop there.

Does anyone in the DFW area want to get in on those Fender Liners that guy is making and selling?

Some of the Golden Triangle guys are wanting to, but I know @dwaltdtx was thinking about it as well as me. Would be easier to a pair from a DFW guy or something instead of waiting until Jambo to get my pair from a GT guy.

Would need someone in the DFW area to make the purchase then get money from everyone. Would save some money on shipping for everyone.

I'm interested. I remember seeing the thread but forgot the price. Very reasonable from what I remember.

 

I'm dangerous to my wallet when I am given time to think about truck stuff. The longer I think about it, the more I want to spend.

 

For me its rolling up to a meet or something and see everyone else's trucks. Right now its tires. Already eyeballing front bumpers.

That is the thread. I would need to know how many people would be interested in them from DFW and then I can get with the guy to see how much savings it would be to ship all of them to one person in DFW.

I've already got:
1) Brute Force Fab rear bumper (US OFF ROAD doing the powder coat)
2) Rigid SRQ backup kit
3) New tires all around
4) ~2" lift (OME shocks front/rear, OME springs, *probably* progressive AAL in back)
5) Aux fuse/relay panel, 6 switch overhead panel, in-cab winch controls, etc

Now in the back of my mind I'm hearing whispers of *upper control arms would be nice* and *you know you could just replace the entire leaf pack* uhhhhhg.

 

If you get the details worked out, I don't mind being the person who orders. I'm in Central DFW so could meet up with anyone participating. If they came in soon enough, I could bring them out to you on the BBNP trip.

 

I'm in. Might as well do it while I've got the suspension all torn apart here in a month or so.
