    After 20 years of industrial maintenance I decided I had enough of the dirt, grime, long hours, a factory that was to hot or to cold 80-90% of the time. Now I work in a hospital:thumbsup:
    Some dirt, always 70F inside, a lot of weekend work for straight time plus premium. Overall a better deal.

    Facing a similar dilemma. There will be a days opening in a few months, but it's a $5700+/year hit:annoyed:

    I've worked on gas turbines, not a Harriet but similar, smaller turbines. Those blades shown in the video are astoundingly expensive. Depending on the stage, certain blades are 20,000 bucks per blade and there are 90 plus blades per stage.
