Been thinking of a project and I need some advice on if it'll work or not. Keep in mind, legalities aren't usually a top concern when I get an idea. Here's what I am thinking...

Take a pump for a windshield washer system and mount it under the hood. Take some tubing and run it from the motor out to the rear bumper where a nozzle is mounted in the small opening used to lower the spare. Also under the hood would be a reservoir with brake fluid or motor oil. If I get some jerk who likes riding my tail I can hit a toggle switch which would be mounted in the cab and give the tailgater a little shower.

I got the idea from seeing people hit the windshield washer fluid to spray the car following too close behind them. Can this be done?

If you want to piss them off, I suggest a second system utilizing maple syrup.

My only concern is how thick that syrup would get in winter and if it would burn out the motor being so heavy in the cold.

I had a buddy in high school who routed the windshield sprayer out the grille and he would spray people walking around school.

Depending where you are (preferably not a busy road) you can mount some LED cubes and give them a few flashes.

It would work until some beater rear ends you and claims he couldn't see because you were dousing his windshield with fluid. You want a vehicle that already has a rear window wiper w/ fluid. Then you can just rig it up and claim it was broken

Maple syrup is Canadian, it's cold up there, I'm sure it'll work itself out...

I like it! Being a trapper, I have a few gallons of coyote urine I could use instead of water. I also have ounces and ounces of skunk essence that has come in handy in the past lol

There you go, use the skunk spray to hit the tailgaters, it'll smell so bad maybe they'll stop driving.

If there is water in the rumble strip along the highway to back people after a rain storm...they start getting close I drift over just enough to kick the water up. I'm curious about this for the days that are nice:rolleyes:

"He was inches from my bumper, officer. I hit my washer fluid button because the windshield was dirty and it was unsafe with limited visibility. That's when he hit me. The brake fluid on his windshield? Musta been from the impact"

Are you fucking stupid or something? I would kick the living shit out of you if for considering this. Water maybe, but oil? C'mon you idiot. You know how illegal that would be, not to mention unsafe?
