I still don't get why a drill with a proper bit wouldn't work. What am I missing? We're just worried about it catching and whipping the strip around? Can't you just have someone hold it?

There is a metal strip inside the stripping that runs the length of the strip.

The problem is that it's actually quite soft rubber, so the bit doesn't really remove the material, just makes a big jagged mess.

You're supposed to cut out the metal section first.

Thick enough to cause issue I suppose then. WasatchOverland did a video of the Prinsu installation and did so with a drill on a 2016 and seemed to work out fine.

could you send a pic of how you used the slot covers on the light bar to reduce wind noise, and the rubber strips on the back fins, it would be much appreciated.

So I'm trying to move the wind deflector down to the last two holes but the're spaced 1 1/4 inch vs 1. Anyone else found this?

Yeah $200 is definitely more than I anticipated saving in a group buy. I just figured I would rather pay the extra now and have it on the truck (hopefully) by mid-April.

@misdirection1982 has been waiting 8 weeks, and finally got a tracking number. Didnt buy in a group buy.

by the way, if you message Zscott, he will give you 5% off for being a TW member

Oh man, I hope that's not the case. Zach said 4 weeks was an accurate lead time at this point, so we'll see.

Did the first production ship within the lead time? I read on the group buy page where there was some sort of shipping error.

Yeah stable income/benefits definitely rule the day when others are depending on you. I'd be interested in knowing what kind of volume he's seeing ... it appears from forum reading that the demand has really ballooned in the past 18 months or so. Started as a school project from what I understand?
