I am concerned about the line that says "It will be installed on Tacoma and Venza at the same time as the recall modifications are performed." To me that means they will chop my gas pedal at the same time...

I've been gone all day and just got wind of this. Sorry for the re-post. This is great news, glad they decided to include us!

This new brake issue is terrible for guys towing.. I have a manual so it does not affect me, but in my previous truck which was an auto, i would ride the brake while I was pulling the boat up the ramp to make sure I would not drift too far back. It sounds like this will prevent you from being able to do so.

 

We can decline the update if we want to. Just a question of preference.

 

My truck won't be going in for any recalls if they notify me.

 

Hell, I'm still waiting to be notified of any of them. No mail, no email, no calls. I confirmed my address is correct... just sitting around waiting for it to show up one day
