    I would say anywhere on the glass is good. My one that was on my rear slider got all messed up just opening that window a couple times.

    Well the sp-8100 is also here, but the mount for the face plate isnt. I also need the terminal bus bar and the terminal block for the power and ground connections so havent hooked any of it up quite yet.

    Im down for a south austin meet, i dont have any plans tonight. I can bring the lights so you can check it out. Id bet we could temp hook it up to the battery to see the brightness

    Do you have any recommendations on where to find a set of spring perches for 2 1/2" springs that are cut for 2 3/8" axle locally?

    I have found them for 3" axle but the ones I have found for 2 1/2" springs are either 1 3/4" wide or 2" wide.

    Im gonna be prepping my skids this weekend to rattle can and read around a bit to come up with these steps. I've not done anything like this so I figured I'd see what y'all think about the steps.

    1. Degrease skid with duplicolor wax and grease remover or acetone
    2. Sand skid with 80 grit
    3. Blow off dust
    4. Wipe with degreaser/acetone and let dry
    5. Spray self etching primer - 2-3 coats
    6. Spray 3-4 coats hammered paint

    Does that sound about right?
