Changed the oil in the wife's Sonata and in the Taco today. Also decided to try my hand at plastidip. The truck came with the 3M protective film on the hood and fender edges for rock chip protection. Well after seven years it has seen it's days and had bad scratches on it. Also the center of my grill never matched the rest of the truck either. Time to break out the plastidip.

Worth the wait. Rattle can it's my choice on sliders since they're constantly getting beat on.

That kit is made by Scosche.

    http://www.scosche.com/2005-2008-toyota-tacoma-dash-kit

It fits real well. Color is slightly off and texture doesn't match the factory piece, but it's OK.

    For the 2007: http://www.scosche.com/2005-2008-toyota-tacoma-dash-kit

    For the 2015: http://www.scosche.com/ta2111bpb

For the 2007, the brackets are plastic. Kind of a downer, but it stays pretty solid in there. Mated with a Pioneer AVH-X5800bhs. The 2015 kit has metal brackets. Very solid. Bracket also mounts to the bezel unlike the Metra kit. This one is mated to a Pioneer AVIC-8200NEX.
