just bought a set of 5100s from these guys. Was wondering who else has bought from them and if they were satisfied.

They had a 100% rating on ebay and were almost $50 cheaper than every where else. Figured I couldn't go wrong using paypal.

 

They've been hooking up members here for years. They stand by their products and customer service is top notch.

On my second set of 5100's. Bought both from Downsouth. Usually the lowest price when you factor in shipping.

 

It was $341.99 with free shipping. I ordered a little over an hour ago and already got an email saying it has shipped. These guys seem like they don't mess around. You said you're on your second set, how long did the first last?

 

They are the best.

 

DSM is legit, buddy bought a full set o kings from them, came super quick and im fairly certian they do custom valving for our tacos after a bunch of testing they did.

 

I got my frame replaced about a year and a half ago, and just did a full suspension replacement at the time. The ones I replaced had about 50k on them (50k over the span of ~8 years). No noticeable issues with them, just a good opportunity to make everything new again. In fact I sold them on CL for $80.

 

I purchased some 5100's and some Icon AAL's from them several years ago for my single cab. I called and talked to Sonny and he hooked me up! Threw in some free stickers and a koozie. I have about wore out the koozie! Great company to do buisness with!

 

How were the AALs.

 

They rode great, firmer than stock but still felt flush. I'm going to purchase them again for my current truck. Would a full leaf pack ride and flex better? Yeah, for sure. But I don't have any "full time" weight in the bed. Is the Icon leaf pack any better or worse than the other 3 lead AAL's out there for LESS money? Propably all made by the same company I'd imagine. But I'm going with Icon on all 4 corners and honestly I'm willing to spend the extra $40 to $60 dollars so in my head I know it's all "Icon" stuff. That's just me. I am sure there are guys on here that have experienced AAL's from Wheelers, HeadStrong, Icon and whomever else "makes" one and can comment if there is a difference in them. Making springs is an expensive and precise operation. One which I'm pretty sure none of these retailers or shock manufacturers do so I would imagine they all get them from the same place and slap their name and profit margin on them and out the door they go. I'd be interested to get all three and line them up to see if there is any difference at all in them.
