Thanks guys. My truck is 2013 DCLB sport 4x4. I'm hoping not to have to use spacers, just don't like the idea. So yeah I might just run the pizza cutters.

Buy new wheels to go with a wider tire. 255 looks ok from the side but looks silly from the front or back IMO Way too narrow

I'm not big on spacers either, not the bolt on kind, I would be using the washer style, Baer bullet, 1/4in spacer from summit racing and longer wheel studs.

Sorry about the bad angle. I'll get a better one in a little while. 20170314_140456.jpg 20170314_140448.jpg

Installed the JBA UCA and a set of Sway-A-Way Coilovers to help with the "please do not rub or i will never hear the end of it" when installing 285.

Just wanna say that after having my JBA A-Arms for almost a week they have been riding really well. So much more smoother compared to stock. I have a 2.5" lift in the front with 5100s and OME 2887. Currently on Cooper ATP 285/70/17 and only rubbing slightly on the body mount under full turn with compression. Current alignments specs 3.1 left, 3.2 right and toe/camber 0. No rubbing on my UCA itself but I have 17x8 ET0 and BS of 4.5" wheels. I am getting Nitto Ridge Grapplers 285/70/17 installed tomorrow so I am going to expect a bit more rubbing since they so have a more aggressive and square sidewall. My next alignment is on Saturday so hopefully they can try to push the wheels a tad forward and so I can reinstall my mudflaps.

Dang it, I was 'just going to go for a ~2" lift' so I didn't have to venture into UCA territory. Now ya'll got me thinking...

I've got ~120lbs up front, plus a set of SOS sliders, going with 885's and OME shocks both ends. Would rather just take this thing apart once if I can help it... so talk me into or out of this. (tires are currently stock Rugged Fails - soon going to 265/75r16's, no plans for 285's - its a daily driver that gets ~40mi a day plus road trips often.)

Kinda hard to beat. 5100s are great off the shelf but ToyTec takes it up a notch. I love the fact they use an adjustable sleeve rather than having to disassemble the shocks and bump the bottom plate up on the snap ring. This also makes leveling side to side nice and easy without needing a spacer of any kind.

Same here. ToyTec ultimate lift is going in tomorrow afternoon after work. Alignment Saturday morning. Get it as best as possible until I get these arms. Just dropped $3000 on a lift, wheels, tires, all before making my first truck payment lol. Time to slow down for a couple months.

Lift was ordered at 175 miles. Would have been in by 350 miles however I took a trip down to NC half unexpectedly so decided to put it off until I got back. It'll be done at about 1500 miles. Kinda late, my 2016 Tacoma was done at 889 miles lol. Guys at the tire shop have kinda gotten to know me, they just shake their heads at this point. It's addicting!

Do ya'll know what the difference is in the Toytec Ultimate kit is vs. the Boss kit? It looks like the same coils, rear shock , AAL, diff drop? Other than $50 difference what else is there? I guess I could email them.

I just installed my ToyTec ultimate kit, haven't even test driven yet. What I find very odd is the drivers side coilover has about 1.5" of thread showing, basically how it came out of the box. I had to decrease preload on the passenger side to about 1/2" of thread showing to level it side to side. Do these things really have that much drivers side lean? I'm even at about 1/4 tank of gas!

Maybe I'll sit more like Blackout then since I have a 13 DCLB Sport ;-) Hey at least it's easily adjustable. Ok well I think I finally made up my mind on the Toytec Ultimate/Boss kit. Sounds like I can't go wrong for the price and my budget. I'm going to go for the full 3" in the front and the full OME Dakars in the rear for hope 3" in the rear. I think the Leafs will settle after a while and I have a camper shell too so my reasoning for the new leafs is because I want more of a factory rake and don't EVER want to be nose high ;-). Am I on the right track?

Anyone hear of or use grease-able camber bolts? I thought I had everything figured out until I read about how these bolts are recommended. I can't find the part again I think it was a Moog part.

Also, I know this comes up a lot, should I diff drop or not? I don't do a lot of offroad and when I do it's not too serious maybe some deep bumpy sand or a moderate trail, not rock crawling at all. With that said, it's my understanding that I should probably do it because with my offroad style I'm probably not going to hit the lower diff. Although, sometimes in deep sand where other vehicles have traveled it makes the middle hump in the sand high, sometimes there could be a random chunk of wood or something hiding in the sand.
