Typically no. Though, I only install quality plugs that don't have issues with galling/seizing. So, no, if you only install NGK or Denso plugs. Bosch, Autolite, AC Delco, other crap.................... GFY :D

@aero3685 I know you're hating this heat so I just activated my snow makers for you. Took the covers off the a/c's :fingerscrossed:

"But there is no escaping that this is a primitive truck. Despite the recent redesign, the ride remains stiff, handling is ponderous, the cabin is loud, and the driving position is still awkward."
It's a fucking truck, it should handle and ride like a truck. You want cushy extra crap, buy 'American'. Not that Toyota isn't rapidly heading down this road. I don't know anything about and have never ridden in or driven an Xterra, but damn if I didn't really like that old slogan - 'Everything you need and nothing you don't.' I won't fault them on the driving position comment, but it works fine for me (at least in my 2nd Gen). And of course the reliability comment... but does any first year redesign not have lower reliability than subsequent revisions?

Well, since they stopped making Rangers and S-10s... For a while wasn't the 2nd Gen the smallest truck on the market? Or was the Colorado/Canyon? Or did they swap places with the latest gens?

BTW, my roommate just did the 'all-electric' mod on his 'new' Prius the other day. Says he can now go up to 2 miles or so on just battery!

Heated discussions? o_O Like whether it's needed or if it will hurt something? I would say I can't believe people would get into heated arguments over something like that, but then this is the internet. I have the two times I've done it... but apparently don't need to? :notsure:

Don't use contact cement if you want a smooth surface.

It'll work for now... I'll do a shakedown install. Maybe just paint it, since I think i have a nice black and good auto clear coat. Not sure why i didn't do that to start. :p
