This is with a leveling spacer on the front, just to stop the rubbing. But it's shit, I wouldn't recommend a spacer for leveling.

Won't knock you one bit for doing it but I learned 25 years ago not to use blocks, essentially what the spacers are. Hoping with what I save if I go the SR5 route will let me buy springs and shocks/coils and some decent tires. No offroading here, just a little mud to play in.

That's my plan as well down the road. Being my first Tacoma, the only complaint I have is the soft suspension.

Maybe eventually a rear locker but who are we kidding, I'll probably never need one.

Side note, I only paid $100 for the stock front bilsteins with the leveling spacer, as well as the rears so I'm not mad about it at all. :headbang:

Hoping if I go the SR5 route that when I go leaf packs, coils/shocks it will have a decently stiff ride.

Bumper looks good, not my style but I was wondering if you or anyone could explain this bumper. It just looks massive and looks like it takes away some ground clearance. I picture this on an F350 not a little Tacoma. I don't mean it in a rude way, I am just trying to wrap my head around the use for what looks like an over the top, heavy bumper as I see them on a few trucks on here. Cheers!

Well we are back home from Big Bend today. The only issues I had were the spare tire loosened up on the winch and the rear springs were too soft for the load I was carrying (+/-1000lbs of gear and 2 passengers).

Fixed both issues today. Tightened up the spare and cut down some Old Man Emu D6XL heavy leaves and made a set of 30" long add-a-leaves out of them. All issues are gone now and truck rides better than stock.

    Finished ride height.
