    Drove it home highway speed 70 straight as could be, no pulling and hitting bumps no issues. Seems great...drive better than before.

    @scottalot who was it in here that said they had a hookup on macbooks that were leased? its about time me and the woman got a new computer. mine no longer can edit powerpoints and I don't think it has the specs to flat out upgrade it to a modern OS. I got the laptop back in 06 haha

    decided to stay home sick and work on something only to find out I couldn't do anything but read over what ive already done. oh well, this has been the best laptop ill ever own! this things seen some shit. good ol Gateways, they don't make em like they used to.

    worst part is, she still works and runs like a top. if only I could keep upgrading her OS, I think she'd keep going for another 5 years.

    You'd be surprised. I've got an old Pentium Toshiba laptop (11+ years old) that I have Windows 10 running on. I think the hard drive is going out... Might drop a SSD in it and reload Win10. It's my garage laptop.
