Yeah I'm trying to double dip here. I've already got a flip kit, but I shared the IG post anyways. :D:D That new finish is looking good. Nothing to see here move along.

I'm thinking it would just be smart business for Eric if I won, that way I would be forced to buy a shock relocation setup to go with it, haha

Shock length will be the determining factor as it is normally the limiting down travel factor. I went with +4 and will have a 26.17" fully extended shock. That is about 3" longer than the stock shock.

What length brake lines is everyone running with this? Will 24" work?

Do you want me to measure mine? Think I got them from Wheelers

I got the +4" lines from Wheelers. No clue what stock length is though.

@HolyHandGrenade Jimmy, what length you running?

The shock should NOT be your limiting factor, unless you like blowing seals and buying new shocks. The springs SHOULD be limiting factor. If you are doing the shackle flip, you should measure everything without shocks attached and buy the correct length shocks. The B110 Bilstein recommended for the shackle flip should fit most peoples applications without overextending. Up travel will depend on tire size, and bump stops should be adjusted as to not compress shocks too far. Good thing is, billies have lifetime warranty and are about $100 a shock. can't even tell the difference between these and my $1500 king's other than the size of the shaft, ride feels the same.
I have 24" which is pushing it fully extended/drooped on one side. I wish had just gotten longer and had plenty of extra.

I lied! I have 24", which have been fine, but should have gone longer just in case. Would also need longer if you do a shock relocate and even more travel( I just have flip). Stock are 20" long according to archive garage.

I agree that the shock should not be the limiting factor, but from what I have read on this site and even measured on my stock setup prior to modify, the shocks are the limiting factor. Most people seem to be buying shocks that are around 9-10" of travel with after market springs and IMO the shocks are limiting down travel of those springs. I would also say that most that are running a 14-14.5" compressed shock length and are wasting travel because with the stock BS on a 2016-2017 you are not going to compress passed the 15" mark because of the factory bump stop (the spring would also be severely inverted. I measured my setup and is 15.75" at fully compressed bump stop (Timbren) and max droop without shock is 25"(foot pushing it down). My setup is close but still more than likely shock limited because of forced articulation and the shock being outboard of the springs. This is running BDS Fox 2.0s that are 15.55" compressed and 26'' extended. I picked this shock because of the 10.5" of travel and where the travel is. Stock Springs with Wheeler AAL and Archive shackle flip. When/if I do the shock relocate and springs that have more droop my +4" brake lines are hopefully long enough.

I got shackle flip and relocate. Use all 12" of my shock travel, and +4" lines are long enough at full droop. I did mod my ABS wire bracket because that was tight at full droop.

Do you have a build thread that talks about your rear suspension setup? Would like to know what relocation kit, wheel BS, spacers, springs, shocks, and any other pertinent data. And how you like it and what would you do different?

No build thread as yet. Too damn busy working on the truck to do one. If I could do it all over again, I would have gone SUA and done 16" shocks through the bed right from the get go.

    Some of the things...
I have stock springs with the wheeler aal as well and have been wanting to do the shackle flip and longer shocks next. Do you find the rear too soft? Have you wheeled much/ run into axle wrap with that setup? Mine have about 30k miles on them and it seems like the springs are nearly flat and I get alot of wrap as is. Just curious.
