Will TOYTEC 620 lb springs on 5100s set at .85" hold an ARB bumper or do I need to upgrade my front suspension?

The Old Man Emu kits offer the 886 coils which are rated at 660#s and are a little bit longer than the 885s to compensate for the additional weight as well. Go ahead and track down a bumper, throw it on and see how much ride height you loose. It should set the same as it is now, maybe a little bit taller with 886s but you won't be sacrificing travel or ride quality by adjusting the perch on the 5100s. You may even be able to set the 5100s back to 0. Trial and error! We're talking about an 80# load carrying difference between the coils you have now and the old man emu coils, that's pretty significant.

    660-620=40# difference.

you should be fine with that setup, but expect some saggage. i run a ome/886 setup and it handles the bumper fine with no sagging

I have the ARB bumper with 885 and 90000 shocks. but I like the rake. 886 is too stiff for me plus it made my lift go 3.5 up front and my axles were all cockeyed. unless you are going to put skids and other stuff such as winch and all then 886 will be fine. I don't have a winch so the 885 was fine for me and my axle is corrected.

again though if you get the 886 and its too stiff or makes it too high of lift, call ARB in auburn and within the first 90 days of install you can change it for a different spring

I think I'm going to bite the bullet and get a set of icons. I already ordered sliders from a group buy and the ARB will be next. But the consensus is, until I get my CO's what I have now should be okay... thanks very much for the input guys!

there you go. also just FYI ARB install sucks cause you have a 2012 and you will have to cut your stock bumper so It can fill the gap between the bumper and your front end. and the instructions are very vague on the install and there is like millions of nuts and bolts etc. if you get the bumper don't get the fog light hit me up and I can sell you mine fog light kit for it I took it off and got the labrak led fog set so I have the arb fog just sitting in the box

I must be the only one here running an ARB/Winch on stock springs and 5100's.

FYI, I haven't died yet.

I wasn't keen on the idea of cutting up my factory bumper either so I got an el cheapo jc whitney replacement bumper for $80 and hacked it up instead.
