I am Confused about the Lifts and what not. I have read up on what every thing is but i go look at the Fox Lifts-Total Chaos and camburg.

What i want to do it get a lift and be able to off road and not worry about breaking something and the ride being nice and smooth.

thinking about a Front 5 or 6 and back 3 or 4 . Call me a bro call me what you want. i don;t really care. its a truck i like the way it looks i hate how trucks look stock so yeah. Help me out a little bit. because i looked and its like 300 bucks? for a set then its 3,000 for the set. :) sorry if this makes me sounds stupid. I just need to get it over with :)

Seriously you probably want to scan the forum for a couple weeks before you decide on anything. A 6in lift is going to be way expensive including installation and everything. And if youll probably want new tires and rims and it starts to get really expensive. Being a 17 year old you might have a tough time coming up with the money. Ive decided on Bilstein 5100s at 1.75 and the tsb in the back after scanning the forums for a couple months. That will be way cheaper than yours and i still am going to have to figure out where to get the money. But really its a good idea to just look around TW for people with the lift you want.

a good 3" will still run you about 700 minimum, plus installation if you don't plan on doing it yourself

I found someone locally to lift my 04 3" with a Tuff Country kit for about $1000.00 which includes the alignment.

Well if you want a 6" lift fox, camburg and TC arent the way to go. You are gonna have to look at pro comp and fabtech. I dont understand what your saying after that, you said it was $300 for a set and $3000 for a set?

yeah thats lift for you.. 6" in the front the 3" AAL in the back would look rediculous.... i you want a lean i would either stay in 3" in the front and keep the back stock. or if you must have 5" of lift get spindles in the front and keep the back stock... just know either way you do it, its gonna be a half ass lift.

To get that kind of lift with reliability you're looking at dropping some cash.

    - Front Fox or Sway-a-way (Camburg) coilovers
    - If you're 2wd, Camburg lift spindles with the coilovers will get you the lift you're looking for in the front
    - Rear All Pro 3" leaf springs
    - Rear Fox remote reservoir shocks
    - You'll probably want some new upper control arms to get the alignment back into spec after the front lift

This stuff isn't cheap. Really consider what you want and do a lot of research before you buy a single thing.

Many people start with huge dreams but in the end find that a set of Bilstein 5100s, new coils, and an add-a-leaf fit the bill perfectly.

Don't knock the bro rake. It's taken a fair amount of work to perfect it on my truck. ;)
