I have a nano puff pullover that is great. I use it mainly in my backpack for ski season, but it does live in the truck too for an emergency layer.
It is very warm and very light.
I never pay full price for anything from pataguccci. I will wait until they have a big sale. The only issue with that is you can never be picky about color options.
Another really great nano like jacket is llbeans version of the nano. Great jacket, very similar.

I already have a Levi's jacket similar to those, I just want something lighter and less bulky
Good to hear about the Nano! I checked LL Bean and found a nice one but I saw the Pata and Arc' on sale cheaper. I'll keep looking. Like I said before they seem to gone back up from what the were last week (I was hoping they would come down a little bit more even) but if I find them down that cheap again I'll just but it. Thanks

The good thing about Bean is their lifetime warranty. Not even REI does that anymore due to people abusing it( ie finding old REI shit at yard sales and returning it to exchange for new)

I'm a pretty big fan of LL Bean. I buy a lot from them and am happy almost ever time. Their warranty is great, but their quality is good enough where I rarely need it. I've returned things a total of two times.

I figure if there's an issue within a month or two, then by all means take advantage of their guarantee. But, if you've gotten a year on hiking shoes that you use frequently, you've gotten your money's worth out of them.

Same I've got a few of their coats, hiking boots that are probably 5 years old I've best the shit out of, various other things and it's all been problem free. It also helps my Maine office is literally down the street from LL Bean flagship store. Their actual headquarters is right behind our building

I haven't been to the flagship store in a few years, but I love it.

I actually have their Visa card and use it for everything. I tend to build up enough points to get a new set of hiking boots, or a new coat (or at least knock a good amount off) whenever I need one. I'm not sure if I should admit that--I may be one of the only mid-20s guys on the planet with their card.

You'd be surprised the number of people up in Maine with them

I went to their flagship store for the first time last year and it's insane. I could spend days in that place and not get bored (and probably spend thousands also if I had deep enough pockets for half of the stuff in there).
