Long time jeep owner. Got tired of the old jeep. Bought a 2004 Tacoma TRD extcab/LB V6/5spd from a local dealership, with 150k miles, pristine condition. Beautiful lunar mist color. Looking to buy a complete OME kit today actually. Leaning towards wheelers off-road complete kit, with added diff drop. I did a complete lift on my jeep YJ by myself, so I'm not new to working on 4x4. I did a lot to that old jeep (rebuilt xfer case, lift, 8.8 instal, etc) From what I've read, the OME install is pretty straight forward? Any issue I should look out for? I assume the new top hats aren't included in the complete and need to be purchased separately...at any rate any advice would be greatly appreciated as well as recommendations for other mods. Thanks. PEACE.

Oh god yes, not a spot of rust on it. It helps living I tucson, AZ. Thing never looked roaded at all. I scoured Tacoma world for potential issues. PLUS I knew what to look for from my jeep days. I drove an old 93 YJ, as my DD, for 6 years in the southern Az desert. Got tired of no AC and constant issues. Plus it was a 4 banger. I feel like I'm driving a Maserati now!

Welcome! I got my 04 about a year ago, it came from Arizona too...looked brand new off the 2004 showroom floor (now a year later it looks its age, thanks to all the offroading I've put her through lol).

Be prepared to be closer to broke than you were before you joined this site...you've been warned.
