My first real Toy

i have had my 07 Silver tacoma about a month and it's great. i am the second owner but it still feels new even with 16000 miles. have not taken it off-road yet, but really want to.

want to put in K&N air filter but curious if it really makes a difference claiming extra hp and gas mileage. any feedback on this would be great.

anyways new to this, hope to put some pics on later.

 

i've heard they make a diff to a small degree. but the differences are negated when the owner wants to test performance and hear the engine sound by revving and accelerating more.

also the filter needs to be cleaned and oiled but that the oil may affect the sensor.

may replace oiled filter with non oil type.

 

Welcome to TW. K/N is ok,but Now adays there are other brands that don't need to be oiled.There is a group buy thread on aFe drop in's.Read up & see what everyone has to say.
