    Generally with buying pre-modded vehicles I would be wary of the parts used. I would also make sure they will warranty it before you sign. Jeeps are nice offroad vehicles but like you said reliability wise the Toyota generally takes it.

    They are VERY expensive and a tad on the overpriced side. But I love the look of them.

    That's another concern of mine. I'd have to inspect what parts were used before hand. But yeah, it's pretty much guaranteed that a Tacoma will last longer.

    Yeah they look great and probably would if AMC still owned them. I had a '79 CJ7. Was a great vehicle but that bitch loved some gas with the 304 in it with a spicer 3 speed manual. Could crawl like a mofo though. AF. I'd still love to have a '86 CJ7 that has the plate on the dash that says "The last of the real Jeeps". Always wanted a Scrambler too.
