Alright who here has replaced their u joints? A shop owned by a fellow 4runner owner quoted me $500 because they can't be serviced in house and they'd have to send them out to their driveshaft shop. So for $100 in parts I might as well do this shit myself. CVS are a bitch to replace sometimes so it can't be harder than that

No. This one has a 3rd gen but ended up with a bent frame and he bought his dads Taco. He just bought the 1st gen and still has his dads Taco.

removing the panhard and sway allows it to droop enough to just drop out.

Driving without a panhard is fun. It doesn't track 100% straight, but it certainly moves a lot more hahahah

I have a 1.5" spacer on the driver side, so that still makes it not feasible, 1.75" upper links hit the gas tank too. I still found this easier than dealing with lining the links back up, and still need to wrestle the coils even with removing links on my truck.

They do, I still added the spacer to even things out. I have the 1.5" spacer with the longer coil on the driver side, no inner coil bumper, and passenger I have the shorter coil with the inner bump. Sits damn near level like that. The first set of MT springs I had were the same length and still had lean, so when I swapped them with new ones last spring, things leveled right out.

are those longer than stock? or just beefier? I cut the dumbass stem off mine and welded on a standard shock mount. Been good so far.

All of the above, I built some custom ones last spring that are 6.5" off the axle, but they stick down further than these due to the design of the front back eye. These are 7" off the axle. I was also tearing up and popping tires from when the sidewall was folding over rocks and pinching on the square edges of the mount, so these should alleviate that.
