Sure, we need to check with an auto paint store. Have to check if we need a different primer, and need to put a clear coat on them also. Need at least a half pint of each if it can be found that small. Your talking 6 coats of paint and you will want it to be cured before you load it back up in the truck. It would be best to leave them for 3 days.

Dude I would do black. Imagine having to touch those up. It would be a pain in the ass. That would be an expensive paint job for something that is going to get scratched up.

Mine were 9 and 4. 9 could ride all the rides. I had as much fun as they did. Can't wait to go back next year. I've done the trail twice. A little nervous at a couple of spots but yes, you'll be fine with your truck.

You're definitely wrong. I think it's an excellent idea to paint them quicksand. He doesn't want to look like all the other stupid quicksand tacomas with black sliders.

If you don't mind that is fine with me, I am in Huntsville all the time.

I know, I know, but it just looks so bad ass...Might just get the rustoleum rattle can and do the LCA skids only. Then paint the rest black. Depends on how expensive the paint is really.

Have any of you guys been to stoney lonesome in your tacoma?

I've never been there, but it looks like a place you could go that doesn't have limbs just scraping down your vehicle the whole time.

Also if you pick the right lines you can avoid the hardest stuff I'm assuming.

I've been there and a few others have also. It's been years though, and I'm told that all the trails are rutted out and much worse do to rzr's and atv's.
