Looks great! Is that a Wilco tire carrier attached to your rear bumper?

Derped the "chrome" on the rear bumper. Looks better, but still want an aftermarket bumper later on.

It's not a willco. The previous owner put a custom tire carrier and duel jerry can holder attached to the fabfours premium bumper. Problem is the bumper support brackets cant support all that weight. So I ordered the C4 Fab high clearance bumper and just waiting for it. IMG_1054.jpg

Not a significant mod by any means but plugged the gaping front license plate holes with color matched bumper plugs for $27. Fingers crossed now I don't get pulled over in my country of The Communist Republic of California. :ballchain:

I love the plates. I had Bulls plates on my previous vehicle but they would not let me put them on the Tacoma. Said I needed truck specific plates (Illinois).

That sucks. I'm glad we don't need truck specific plates in Oregon. I really wish the Timbers would make a plate. What did the bulls plate look like?

Here you go. Tough times for Bulls fans but was fun to represent.

Just curious since you have added so much to your truck have you noticed any difference in performance (handling, power, ect...)? I've put off making many changes because I've worried about how it will affect the truck.

You know it's just a matter of time. I'd carry the front plate in the Taco so you can put it in the window when they stop you. Sucks, but that's who they are out there. Glad we don't have that requirement here in Florida!

I have some of the same gripes that most people do about the transmission/shifting/power at lower rpm's but I haven't noticed any handling or ride issues at all. It is a bit stiffer with the E rated tires and the heavy springs but its not over bearing.. I will however be taking my rig into Slee Offroad to have the 4.88 re-gear so that should solve the transmission/shifting/power issues and other guys on TW have had success with the re-gear. The gearing is just not right to began with and especially when you start adding weight.

I can help you if law enforcement gives you a hard time about no front plate. Check out the quoted pic for @cemented to see how the front bracket looks. No drilling! Links below in my signature....
