What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Those look good! I've been considering those but clear instead of tinted.

 

Guuhhhh... I keep going back and forth on wanting to get those... I think my truck is too "rough around the edges" for that look.

Definitely want to swap out the OEM tails I have that are standard incandescent bulbs and the "pink" reverse lenses...

I like those! ive seen some with orange DTRL and white DTRL instead of the red, not a fan of the orange, but I'm not sure which I like better, the red or white. I'm leaning towards the white

 

These have been on my list of accessories since I first saw them on ebay like 2 years ago. Might have to bump them up to the top cause they look dope!

Yeah there's a few different variations. Some with chrome housings and smoke lenses. These have matte black housings with smoke lenses. I made sure to message seller before ordering so I wasn't surprised when they came lol

 

So want the smoke rather than chrome! I still hate the chrome on my truck being its silver, doesn't go well together. These look sick and I love how they are white when off.

 

ive seen them white and also orange while illuminated, and now red of course hahaha the red doesn't look bad at all tho, I'm curious if having white rear taillights would be an issue with legalities. tail lights are typically red so having white ones may confuse drivers kind of thing.

 

Good point. Yeah I guess it just depends on the region.

 

From what I know, Red, Blue, and Green are a no no in most states, white should be fine.

 

I think we're getting confused because of the wording of my original post. You're correct, front DTRLs should probably not be any other color from white or orange.

The tail light strip is white when it's off, and red when it's on.

 

This would totally fuck with my OCD... but damn that's sexy AF!!!!! But all the harness are just plug and play as well as the mounting brackets line right up.. just get and aftermarket radio bezel and some slight trimming...

yeah same colors are a no no north of the border. I would have to look into it. like I know DTRL here have to be white or amber but I see people running all sorts of different colored Halo headlights, including blue and green but no one seems to enforce it, as long as its not flashing most cops don't care. I'm sure a white tail would be the same, even if it is illegal its such a minor thing I doubt it would be enforced haha might just stick to red tho just in case. you know how most drivers are on the road, wouldn't want to cause an accident cuz buddy thought I was coming at him head on with my white tail lights hahaha

Yep, meant to say flashing mainly. Those multi colored halos are not my thing. And no one in hell is going to pull over for a truck going 80 with flashing pink, blue, green, purple etc anyway
