Colton, No worries keeping the fire going. We'll have some kool-aid for you when you're ready muahahahahaha! Check into the gym in a box and look into the Oly lifts if your old man is that close, totally worth it! I hear you about the atmosphere though, definately amazing in a crossfit box a opposed to a normal gym. Plateaus happen but then you break though, I was stuck forever at 405 dl and 2wks ago I got 445. I hear you about the drive too, I work 20mi from my house and hate to see that mileage go up  Only good thing is there's a gym on base and my box is 5min from my house

For AK do the before and after. I've been on a boat (navy) and I gotta say those civ boats look alot nicer...although your job is gonna be intense to say the least! Defiantely do the before and after and stay safe!

so ive gone a few times and i actually really like it. my cardio sucks but not as bad as i thought it was. still learning alot of the movements but i dig it. first day i was actually able to knock out 5 straight muscleups. but ya maybe we should start a paleo only thread for diet ideas and different meals and encouragement???? what you guys think

It's the most fun I've ever had in a gym. It's competitive, encouraging, respectful. It's like a second home and a second family for me.

Best thing is, when I work out, people that are already done and just hanging will watch the 2yr old while I get my WOD on. Try doing that at a globo.

You definitely can! Even my instructors here say that if you want to get bigger while doing crossfit, just eat more :D (well, those are in my words, but ya know)

And todays WOD is awesome, but its my rest day :( Maybe i'll sub it in for tomorrow instead!
