there is a small locking allen screw you need to loose before you ajust height

yea , that is the set screw i refer to in first post, i took it all the way out even but i cannot turn them at all with spanner wrench and they are brand new direct from sway away. i mean i can barely get up in there to get enough leverage. but i get enough i think that it should at least move.

try taking the truck weight off the wheel with a jack before binding the ajustment or you might strip the treads, maybe loosen and check it?

Put the front of the truck on jack stands to get the weight off the front tires and suspension. Back the adjusting collar off about 1/2 turn, then try to adjust it to the desired height. :)

the only way i could move it either way was hit the spanner with a hammer. this is after i have lifted, and taken out set screw all the way. should it be this hard?? all i had to lift it was toyota jack and put a brick under that so i could only lift one side, but the left side is the only side i need to raise.

You need both tires off the ground, otherwise you will be fighting the tension from the sway bar. You could try and disconnect the sway bar and see if that helps.

Where do you live? Maybe there is a Member in your area that can lend a hand/tools?

jackson,ms. . hopefully cause there isnt shit here, i mean no one here, (shops) that know what the hell they are doing. i mean they all claim they do but shit i know more then they do, i just cant physically do it, so when they mess it up , i have to take it back and pull teeth and bribe them into getting it corrected like 5 or 6 times plus tell them how to do it. and u dont even know how hard it is when the break something. its always the tire shops fault, or the susp shops fault or ricks pro trucks fault, everyones but theirs.

yea ill just get another jack, but thanks so much for tellin me i have to lift both ends. i dont understand why allpro , sway away and all these supposedly profressional places dont tell u the details, they just advertise like bling blang wow, LOOK , easy bolt on , bla bla bla. They dont say u have to be a near bout certified mechanic and have prior extensive knowledge of 4x4s and everything there is to know about them in and out or u will spend weeks on research and then if u are loaded with money and your health is perfect and u can run 10 miles without panting then u will be able to install our products. oh and have a spring compressor and all sorts of 150 dollar jacks and what not.

well i borrowed a neighbors jack, got both front tires off the ground, and still had to use a hammer on the spanner wrench to move it.it was just as hard to move it as it was when i just lifted the one side i was adjusting.
yea man im just tired of being ripped off, seems like there are no honest people left in the world.shit bro im just telling it how it is. oh beleive me , i am tryin to chill out, u have no idea what i have been through with all these shops and allpro and these mechanics. if i werent chilled out , i wouldnt killed them or myself by now.
