Lol yeah finance can be dangerous. Also I believe he is trying to finalize the design of the rack. Mine was one of the first, and I'm helping Nate work out some finer details so the fit and finish is absolutely perfect. Even still I am very happy with how it fits. Extremely sturdy, not much wind noise, and install was very straight forward.

For the roof rack, our tacomas have 5 stock holes to bolt the rack down to on each side (on the double cabs). You pull up the weather stripping/drip rail, pull the tape off the holes and using spacers (so the rack doesn't sit directly on the roof) you bolt it down. In the top right picture you can kinda see how the rack sits slightly off the roof of the truck, only the spacer is touching the paint. I chose not to re-install the drip rail, and I just made sure I sealed the bolts extremely well (you will have to do this either way, drip rail or not)

Thats so sick. I just emailed him inquiring about a full length one.
Right now i just have 2 thule crossbars on the cap with an extra set of feet attatched to the factory holes on the cab like you said. I can move the crossbar forward more spreading the weight of canoe out.
But now im really thinking the rack you have and rtt.
I think im gna have to take a drive to collingwood and have a lil look see

The rack is unbelievably modular. You can pretty much mount anything to it and move bars and what not around. Plus for the cost you pay it's not overly crazy. Considering some of the crossbars from Thule are like 300-400 dollars (atleast when I priced them out).

I forget where abouts your from but if you want to take a look at mine by all means let me know.

    Sounds good.

Absolutely before it gets cold lol. I also got the trail maps for a bunch of other trails so there are a bunch of other options for camping this year!

I call jeeps tandem axle off road trailers, because they are good for putting stuff in and getting towed through the bush.

I don't see my name there, but I guess it doesn't matter because I had my Taco stolen in Montreal while I was in Cuba last week. It's gonna be a shit-show with the insurance tomorrow.

My wife and I are very sad...

... but some fucking African warlord is going to be very happy when the boat shows up.
