Thanks! Yeah I'm used to it now tho. Monte did the same thing with me, we were going back and forth after I did it and I pretty much confirmed his assumption. But it brakes a lot better haha.

Patches are addicting as you have found out. We have a bunch of the same ones too :fistbump:

I was debating it, I'll have to look at it more. I wonder how loud they are and compare price and see what's the best.

@alee891 how loud are those Pros?

I will in the summer, not sure if I can afford to get tires, rims and regear all at once. So I think I can live with it for a few months. But it will be this year

Exactly! I saw that and died laughing.
    Great movie haha

If you haven't ordered tires yet, then I'd definitely look more at the STT Pros. I'd personally take a louder tire for a better performance off road.

Yea. I was looking at them yesterday think about 315s. Then realised that 315/75r16 STT Pros are $50 per tire cheaper then 315/75r16 MTRs.

I've heard nothing but good things about the Pros, Josh. Can't go wrong with the Coopers ether way, I think!

Don't mistake my comment as a negative attribute by any means. I talk highly of the STT Pros every chance I get.

They are loud, but it doesn't bother whatsoever. I didn't buy MTs in order to be stealthy. I bought MTs in order to get through tough terrain... and look badass doing it

If I regeared right now, id go 4.88 with 33's and never look back...even with my 5 speed. Yeah you are overgeared but 4.56 with 33's is still a little undergeared in a 5-speed. Then again I live in a place with high elevation highways I guess you could say, so I need all the help I could get when driving those roads/highways fullloaded, not to mention better crawling capabilities being overgeared. Just my $0.02. Thats why I'm waiting to regear because ill most likely end up going 35's and 5.29's in a couole years when I get another vehicle.

What's the trade-off exactly between 4.56 and 4.88 gears? I have just started researching this. I am a 5 speed v6 with full skids, armor and winch. Eventually want a dual battery set-up and RTT and a tool box loaded up and swing-out. So she's gonna be a heavy pig eventually. I just bought arb lockers for the front and rear so I want to regear at the same time. Also I am on 305/70/16's.

I'd say higher rpms is both a downfall and benefit lol. These trucks love higher rpms and ive never had a problem going over a pass in 3rd gear screaming at 3500 rpms. But it means worse milage on the highway as you start to exceed speeds of 70+. But with how heavy you are going to be eventually and if its not your daily (at least highway driving), id go 4.88. But for in town driving, I know guys who get 19 mpg in town lol
