Sat next to this guy in traffic today. This is why I love the desert - trucks like this are able to survive. Back when I lived in the rust belt you'd never see anything like this.

Mine fills in as a daily driver regularly. My Tacoma is locked in the shop and the Land Cruiser is in the driveway right now.

Mine was a dd for a while, and it tore shit up at truckhaven over TDS weekend 2 weeks ago. So, yeah, it runs. I posted a few videos of it in action that weekend in another thread.

What is your location? That might explain things if you are confused by them still running.

These old rigs thrive in the dry Southwest states.

There was a wrecked 60 near me that had the rear end smashed, I tried to buy it so I could chop the rear out and make a ute out of it but they had it scrapped the day before I got to them.

I agree, but I'm not the innovator of the idea. Shawn Whale did it already. Calls his the "Dirty 30."

I've seen pictures of that before, that thing is awesome. I was watching a guy build one with double axles in the back at one point on another site.

I want to say it was on IH8Mud...

I'm located up in the Northwest, Oregon! Don't see much older rig around. But thereare a few. Not much people believe my 91 pickup having original stock under the hood until I open it lol. One time a guy from the dealership had to scan or take the engine code number and put it in the computer to believe it was true. Lol

They do good in places where the roads do not get salted.

Haven't driven mine in a couple months, only a couple miles since September . Need to get motivated to upgrade the front brakes, the rotors are warped horribly.

Best body style they ever made, in my opinion.
