I was never a huge poster here but you guys helped me out a lot over the 3 years I had my 2011 tacoma. Either by directly answering questions or by my searches here.

Decided last week I've had enough of my tacoma. Did 140k miles with her and that was enough. Needed to invest some money in it and decided it wasn't worth it.

Main problem was the transmission was acting up. Had the recommended services done(60k miles) on time but after the last service it wouldn't shift right and had a studder in between shifts and sometimes wouldnt shift into over drive unless I moved the shifter from drive to 4 and back to drive.

At the end it had 5100s, light racing uca , wheelers add a leaf, 885s, and 265s. It was a great truck, I never replaced a single part besides normal service and wear parts.

I went to the toyota dealer to get a new 2017 dcsb TRD but I did not like the new truck. The body style and didn't care for the feel of the 3.5. I ended up randomly at the jeep dealer and got a 2016 Rubicon unlimited. Figured after owning trucks for the last 12 years I'd try out a jeep. So far I love it. Hopefully it treats me well. I doubt it will be as trouble free as my tacoma.

Dealer still gave me 15k for my trade. They wanted 29000 for the Rubicon with 28k miles on it. Ended up walKing out financing 12k on the jeep after negation.

So once again thanks for all the help guys
